 THE LIFE OF A FARMER

A Farmer is a familiar figure having land, bullocks, plows, yokes, levels, etc. He passes his days working in his fields from morning till evening. He has to get up from bed very early in the morning and starts towards the fields leading the working animals and taking with him agricultural tools needed for the day's work. Sometimes he has to engage laborers in his work, especially during sowing and harvesting season. Very weak, he goes to a nearby market for buying things and selling his produce. His wife and children sometimes help him with this work. At night he is free from ambition, he is blessed with a night's repose. He wishes to have a good harvest. But if he fails to get it, he feels pain and sorrow.
